"Things I Should Be Doing All Year, Every Year" goals

Everyone is buzzing around and talking about New Year Resolutions. Steve doesn't really believe in them and thinks that you should be setting goals the whole year and not just in the beginning. He thinks for the most part it these "New Year Goals" are lame. Most of the time, by the end of January, these new goals are DOA.

So I won't call them "New Year Goals." Instead, I will refer to them as, "Things I Should Be Doing All Year, Every Year" goals.

So here is my list of things to implement in my life forever.............

1. Need to drink more water.
2. Need to pay off my Discover Card.
3. Need to exercise and get that 20 something figure back. :)
4. Need to be kinder to everyone.
5. Since I am teaching the Old Testament in Sunday School this year, I want to read all of it and not just the parts that I am teaching. I really do love the Old Testament stories. You can't make up the stuff that happens in there.
6. Need to remember that if the house isn't perfect, it really isn't the end of the world.
7. Need to laugh more.
8. Need to talk more on the phone and face book...........oh wait, I am already doing that. :)
9. Need to enjoy my kids more. They will be grown up and gone before I know it.
10. I look forward to going to the temple when we move to Salt Lake. I haven't been since I got married and that is really sad.

So there you have it. Here are the things that I plan to fully make a part of my life. Not just setting goals but creating a lifestyle.

So what is that saying??? "There isn't a lot of difference in each of us, but it is the little bit of difference over a long period of time that makes the big difference." Not sure who really said this, but this is something that I have heard my dad say over the years and it is so true. I hope that these little things that I plan to start doing will make a big difference. Only time will tell.
