Ok, so Mitchell comes into the laundry room and informs me that he no longer wants to be called Mitchell. I said ok, what are we going to call you?
He answers just Mitch. Ok, why just Mitch? He says because that only has 5 letters and that it is just too hard to write 8 letters.
Well then, we wouldn't want to over exert ourselves at age 5. Better slow down. To think other countries think Americans are lazy...........imagine that. :)
So Mitch it is. Should I tell him that we could just call him Mit and save him 2 more letters?????? HA HA HA

Well Maxwell shortened his to Max many years ago, too. Don't think it had anything to do with the # of letters though. He said he just didn't like it. I don't know, maybe it was because he was being called "Max-smell" by some of the sweeter boys in the neighborhood. Now, however, he and his friends just call each other "G" or by their last names.
